I just purchased a new shindiawa 357

So let's hear it good are bad I want to find out as much as I can. Any do's and dont's with this particular saw? Anyone had experience with this saw? and "yes" before you ask it "Does Not" have a high speed needle adjustment. But previous models did and I shall aquire one.

thanks to all jeff

I picked one up when in the saw shop last Saturday. Thought it was gawd-awful heavy for a climbing saw. Didn't start it up though.

I looked at them too. Seems like they were about 9 lbs. or so.

>Try not to let your mind wander. It,s too small to be out by itself.<

I own a Shindaiwa 357 as a backup to my Stihl 020T. I couldn't pass on the price. The saw is heavy and bulky, but serves as a good backup climbing saw. My only real complaint is that it is hard to keep the saw in adjustment. The idle wanders, I am currently trying to find the problem.

Hmmm..........................maybe an Echo 3000 or 3400 would have been a better choice.
