deepfried or not, i'll eat bugs first.:msp_rolleyes:

Too bad you weren't here when we were unloading the maple rounds off of the trailer... some of them were slightly rotten in the center, and there was a HUGE grub in there. About 3" by 3/4"... that's one big ass grub. You'd rather eat one of those?

Hell, I'd eat just about any edible plant or animal before either eating slugs, salamanders, bugs, etc.

One of the kids I went to high school with would eat earthworms. He just tilted his head back and dropped them down his throat. He did wipe them off before hand, which probably wouldn't make a difference cause there's dirt inside the damn thing too.

I have a recipe for earthworms. Eating slugs, yuck, that's for ##### Frenchmen, but earthworms...mmm...

First you put the living worms in a paper bag with some wheat flour and let them stay there for few days. They will eat the flour and chit the dirt out of their system. Then you deep fry them. (Yes, I've tasted fried earthworms, they're Ok, but maybe not every day).

Have no fear , Ljute found these fine products he's on the case !
