The only one I have with the extra holes for the SP80/81 models has a small crack in the starter base.
I wouldn't be afraid to use it on a saw that was only seeing occasional use, particularly if someone was good about using the DSP valve when starting.
The other alternative is to take any complete 10 Series starter and add the 2 extra holes on the bottom and 1 on the top/rear.
