rebuilt a 090 a while ago.already milled with it and it works good.problem is getting it started.just doesn't want to start.any suggestions? i took it to a stihl shop and buddy didn't seem to want to help out, that's another matter.this is my first major rebuid and i don't want anything to go wrong.again, any advice would be appreciated.thanks,robert.

what are your needle settings?

sounds like the low side needle might need a tweaking. But that is just a guess,, explain what it is doing besides just hard to start.

eric, besides not starting up right away,it will sound like it's going to fire up but doesn't.then,it seems to flood on me,at which point in time i blow out the spark plug and then it tends to start.hope this helps, robert.

Steve here... Like Andy said... and also, make sure your needle and seat seal. I also had an Oh9Oh need a new flywheel because it rattled the internal welds loose. Weak squeeze... cranks seals, but then it will usually idle eratic.
