Both 024 AV and 024 AVS make excellent light and powerful saws when upgraded with 026 P/C’s and some minor porting.
Shave 0.018” off of a 44mm cylinder base and adjust upper transfers for the AV.
Use a 44.7mm P/C for the AVS and adjust intake timing.
Trim the 2 top rear cooling fins to use the 024 top cover, or use an 026 one. No need to open up the case on either unless the bearings are bad.
