Need a jug for an 024 Super. I see that the Supers have a different cylinder according to the parts manual , and I am aware that they have a 2mm longer stroke than the non Supers. I have measured the squish with the OEM cylinder and there is more than enough room to use a non Super cylinder. Any aftermarket Super cylinders I see for sale also say they fit the shorter stroke 24's. Does anyone have any experience in fitting a regular 024 cylinder to a Super or any advice? I don't really want to put a 026 top end on it. Thanks.

You can't use cylinders on saws with different strokes. A 026/260 would work. Not sure about cover and muffler fitments.

I think a 260 is like .7 larger bore. My genius self put a regular 026 piston in one.

Biggest problem I had putting the 026 top end on a 034S was finding the correct air filter cover.

You need either the 44mm (026) or 44.7mm (260) P/C set.

Need the top cover to match the AF cover, and fit the rear handle/fuel tank vent.

You need the air filter and cover to match the top cover. Unless you want to leave the original short one on there. Which will work just looks funny.
