Hello folks, I have here a Stihl 028 AV I would like to sell as is for parts or repair. Take a good look at the photos because what you see is what you get. Cylinder and piston are done for. Crank is still good though, lower rod bearing is still in good shape. Crank bearings turn smoothly and don’t have any play. Crankcase has some scuffed and scratched paint but no cracks or holes. Fuel tank is good, no cracks or holes. Ignition coil is good but will need a new lead wire. Carburetor could probably benefit from a rebuild. Plastic coverings are included, they have some sun fading and wear but are intact. Clutch cover is included, it’s not too bad but does have a small crack at the top left corner. Starter assembly is pretty good but I would replace the rewind spring sometime soon. Muffler is a little crusty but is intact. Overall its a little dirty but would make for a good builder.
