Not a show winner but it gets the job done. Has a chunk out of the lower rear handle. This is an early model saw with a metal tank and no chain brake. I had a chance to run it today in some wood and it runs ok and has good power but something is a bit off. It has a hesitation off idle that I can't tune out of it and it will quit or almost quite at idle wile rolling the saw from one side to another. Maybe it needs crank seals and a carb kit. I have a set of AM crank seals I will send with the saw as I think that will cure most of the issues. It starts good cold and warm and compression doesn't seam to be an issue. I pulled the muffler and tried to get some pics. Piston looks good. I just don't have time for another project as I have a mint 028 super on the bench now along with many others.
