Stihl 034AV Year??

Just wondering what year my Stihl 034AV electronic quickstop which i just picked up secondhand was made?
The number on the bottom of handle in the circular stamp which has

the letter J in the middle and around the letter is the following numbers

9 / 1011 / 121 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 67 / 89 /

Serial Numbers

The number you need is on the top right hand side of the crankcase next to the muffler. Should be a 9 digit number starting with a 1 or 2. You will need to email the number to Stihl and if it was registered at the time it was originally purchased they can tell you when it was manufactured. Or, possibly somebody on this forum has access to the database that can advise the build date.

don't have to remove anything, although the paint might be a little burnt around the number. the area where the number is looks like bare aluminum (actually magnesium)

It is closest to the muffler in this pic

It's very early 90's.. maybe very late 80's. I might be able to track it down further in a few days..
