Did the early 034/036 use the same size ID rim sprockets as the 026?

Dose Stihl use 2 or 3 different ID rims?

Yes early ones used small aka mini spline rims same as the 26. The later ones used large spline rims same as 44, 46, 66, etc. If you have a large spline and you want to run .325 I believe 9t is the smallest # you can get in a large spline.

I think 210,250,270,280,290,310,390, and 260 use one size.

361 through 880 use the bigger

So, dose Stihl just use just two different spline sizes?

Thanks

The 290's come with large (outfitted with 3/8th ) and small spline (outfitted with .325) dependant on region, but the 310's and 390's come with large spline because they are outfitted with 3/8th.

Correct!

One problem is that the Stihl "mini-7" is not the same as the otherwise universal "small-7" - I once learned that the hard way.....GRRRRR

Here is what I could find out.

mini 5/8 ID

Small 3/4 ID

Standard 7/8 ID

MS210 through MS390, Mini

MS361 through MS880 uses, Standard

Then what Stihl saws, if any use the, Small size?

There are only two sizes... your list is not totally correct though... the 034/36 can use either the smaller or larger version depending on the clutch drum in use.
