Mine's a magnum, 52mm P/C but it might be hard to prove unless it says somewhere on the serial number. This thing has been recently rebuilt with a new P/C, intake boot, pulse line okay, but it still takes a lot of pulls to get it started cold. It runs good once started but I'm gonna try a new carburetor to replace that 30 year old Tillotson. The problem around here is that everybody uses that ethanol stuff except me.
I haven't messed with the crank seals yet either..

kit in the tilly? my m w/bing was like that, cheap ***** kit fixed it, just changed diaphragms. 2 pulls cold now. was [and is] one pull warm.

That's a lot of money for a 30 year old saw, unless in like new condition, especially since it's not a Mag.

havin run a s & m side by side, can say the s is close. have never run the smaller ones.
