Stihl 044 dual port muffler

Looking at Dual port mufflers for a Stihl 044. Recently bought an aftermarket one from an online auction and discovered it did not have the spark arrestor screen mounting brackets. (Although I'm not a spark arrestor screen fan, I plan on selling this saw eventually and don't want anything to come back to bite me) :msp_w00t:

I have the old muffler. Is my best option just to buy the dual port cover, or is there another reputable source for this item. Post pics of your dual port if you have time, I'm interested in the design and look so I can be familiar with it. Thanks!

Probably about 10-20% increase with the dual port cover, its noticeable.... maybe its just louder and that's what you notice :msp_smile:

No sir, this is another project my son has been working on for a while. We have been off-and-on with it because of his work schedule. He's interested in how it will run with the dual port. He used to help me with projects all the time, and he's very sharp on the building/repair end. They do grow up fast. He loves the big saws and has built quite a few 044's on his own.
