Anyone out there have experience running an 090? I just looked on the Chainsaw Collectors Corner at this saw and it says to run the gas mixture at 20:1. Does this sound right to everyone? What is the purpose of running it so rich? Anyone do it any differently? Perhaps Stihl oil will allow a more diluted mix? Thanks everyone!

Oil Mix for 090:

If you check Mike's site again you'll see that the O90 AV mix ratio is listed at 40/1 mix with Stihl oil. I don't own an 090 saw, or have ever seen an owner's manual on one, but I would run a good oil at 32/1 mix and you should be fine. Contact Stihl USA and give them your saw information, serial number, etc and see what they come up with. You could also ask them for a copy of the owner's manuel and parts list for that saw. I'm sure they would be willing to help you in that regards. Good luck. Lewis.
