Stihl chain question

... As for the grooves on the bottom of the cutters and tie straps, I was told they are maximum wear marks, if your chain wears down to those marks, time for a new chain. Maybe stihl thought they didn't need to put them on the tie straps as well as the cutters?

I think so too, but I think they are a bit too close to the rivets....
