Hope I don't get laughed off the board asking about an electric but I'm thinking of adding another one to my arsenal for carving (electric due to lower noise). Anyhow, I have a Makita which I like but the manual chain oiler is a pain in the butt. The saws I'm looking at to replace the Makita is the Husky 316 at $230 or the Stihl MSE 140 at $300 or the Stihl MSE 180 at $350.
My big question is whether or not the Stihl electrics are THAT much better than the Husky to justify the large difference in price? My local dealers do not have demos.
