PFERD are usually not the least expensive but have worked well for me. All of them are generally cheaper by the dozen, then you don't have to worry about them for a long time and you can keep them in different places where you may need them (home, cabin, vehicle, etc.).

Save Edge was good but I think they stopped making them look around for any old stock.

Yep, no more chainsaw files from save edge. They don't even offer the sharpening service anymore. Hard to find them in stick as well. Pferd or vallorbe would be good options. Logging buddy has some mad dog (?) Or something like that files he's been liking. I have one here he gave me, but haven't had to use it yet.

Vallorbe and Vialla (sp) are always 2 of the best if you can find them.

A Dremel makes chips for me. A 40$ converter and you can use them in the field on your truck, tractor, or skider
