I cant believe how BAD the small saws that are in the range,I have a 361 (i wouldn't buy another)my local dealer gave me a 025 demo to try out for behind the chipper light ground saw as a "cheap"throw away saw,It got a big thumbs down by the ground guys and i don't blame them.

I honestly cant see a saw in the stihl range up till the 046(then you might as well get a 066)

The 365 husky is WAY better as a ground saw and runs a 20" nicely and its cheaper.

I have ALOT of work saws if your wondering why ive started this thread.

what do you not like about the 361?

Wait a sec... you're comparing a 65cc Husqvarna to a 45cc Stihl? Why don't you at least compare like models?

"Wow, my F350 pulls wayyy more than my buddy's S10"

No kidding.

That besides the point, that 300$ saw should have the same construction and quality as a 600$ saw.

DISPLACEMENT

59.0 cc (3.6 cu. in.)

ENGINE POWER

3.3 kW (4.4 bhp)

4 cu.inch / 65.1 cm³, 4.6 hp(I) / 3.4 kW, 15"-28" / 38-70 cm, 13 lbs / 6 kg

Who's who??

Careful their a-lopa. You need to remember that most folks on this site do not try to scrape out a living and feed their families with a chainsaw and chipper. If they did, you might find more sympathetic ears. The ms200T is a decent saw, if you can get over the outrageous price tag and abysmal oil cap.

exactly, it takes a bigger heavier motor to only make a little more power, that's who's who. And while we're on the subject, do you know how long it's been since the "0" series Stihls have been replaced by the MS series. I call BS and trolling.
Fredmc, have you ever run a 361? Seriousley?

oh yeah I have ran a 361 Why buy that overpriced plastic poc when you can spend less on a 359 and mod better performance out of it. In fact a modded 455 rancher will stay with a 361 for far less money.

You got that right. The 200t is not a good saw choice for a groundie but it is the only stihl we have left on the truck, with the exception of the ht131, but we had a lot trouble with that thing as well.

I don't mind the 359,(good saw, good value) the 357 on the other hand, please. You could buy a 7900 for its price. As far as a modded saw running with a stock saw, come on, be reasonable. How long and how well do you really think a homeowner saw would run against a pro saw? That's absurd. How many modded 455 would it take to cut as many board feet of wood as one 361?

Sadly no time for this........

It always seems #2 always has to scream ( or cry ) the loudest !!!!!!
