The new ones did come out. There better then the older ones.
They sound better too. They idle you can rev them up and it
will go back to an idle. They are more realistic. Cost more too.

You got it Mr. bow saw, I was into the stihl dealer before X-mas and was looking at them, I knew they looked different compared to the other posters pics of the older ones. Your pic proves that it was'nt my imagination. I stihl think I might get one for a keepsake.

I have found that the first generation of toy saws respond better to modifications!!!!

Well, my stihl dealer was half correct. He thought a new toy saw was rumored to be coming out and he said he'd try to get a few. A few weeks later he said they never came out.

Now that I see there is a Craftsmen toy and new Stihl toy out I am going to have to tap into the chainsaw fund. At least after a few years of CAD my wife has thrown in the towel. She has finally realized that resistance is futile!
