How many tanks of fuel do you run through your saw before you consider it broke in and how often do you change spark plug or do you just wait until its starting hard
True, P&R and OT, not the Chainsaw forum, are for stupid questions. On this forum, there is NO stupid questions.
Only stupid answers!
Have to strengthen those areas first through other means or firewooding will tear them up because no one I ever met knew their limits and would start out slow and build up gradually firewooding.I enjoy working outside as well and I am out of work so I could use the money as well
As long as my back and neck hang in there with me
Can't relate to this. But can't help but wonder if there might be better methods to strengthen the muscle groups supporting the discs.Well I have disks in my back fused and some in neck and back that need fused
Can relate to this. Do core strengthening 2 days a week. Arms, neck, and legs 2 days a week. It helps! It really doesn't take long and I can feel it in my bones when I slack off on occasion. As well as other issues with back neck and shoulders
I definitely know where your coming from. It helps to realise the hated exercise, in part, allows me to get out and do the things I enjoy, like processing firewood without aggravating underlying issues to the extent I can do neither exercise or work on the wood pileExercising is something I have always had trouble with but working out side not so much no matter how hot or cold it is
Lol I can relate I need both shoulders worked onDecades ago my new 2100 cd, 2101 Xp, 266 se, 240sg didn’t need breaking. When I purchased my new 385 xp, 575,;353 I thought something was wrong with them. When the 385 xp and 575 both cut ten cords of wood each they came to life and the after burners kicked in.
Tonight I went to move a saw in a box and my hip popped. I’m Done. Electric start in my future.
I understand but mowing weedeating and cutting wood is my exerciseI definitely know where your coming from. I turn seventy next year and do not plan on slowing down until. I still average one or two loads of wood a week. My son pays mucho taxes and is stressed most of the time. He spends his extra time working out and riding his bicycle to stay going. When I get home its light out. I have some projects that give me real joy. One special place is closed to the public and is two or three hours away from a paved road. I set up my camp and hope for four feet of snow. I always have enough provisions for six weeks. My buddy with four paws says life is great when there are only two inches of snow with a big bonfire going. ThanksI understand but mowing weedeating and cutting wood is my exercise
