I never have been a huge Ford fan.......I ran a '79 Mustang in the 1/8 mile for years though.

A friends dad worked at ford R&D engine shop.
Had a 289 with chevy heads. Ran quite well.
Pushed a 19' jet boat.
Don't ask how it got there. Lol

Boss 302 heads weren't much for torque either......
