Ok folks, feeling good for christmas here. Either that or just feeling crazy from being snowed in.
I have a Stihl 075 complete to trade. It has fire and seems to have good compression. I only can tug the rope a few times before my arm is about ready to fall off. Its complete with a full wrap handle. I think its a 075. The name badge is missing. Was going to be a project saw to get running . But I seem never to have the time.
So, in trade. I am interested in medium Husqvarnas. Prefer running just no time for projects right now.
Let me know what you think
Bob

Have a pic? I'm in the middle of building a 262xp....

I need a good chain brake/ bar cover for my Super Pro 60.

I think there the same on most super pro's as well as the pro 10-10. I have the good brake parts, if all you have is a cover.

Anyone got a extra, pm me.

Ok finally the pics. I never cleaned it up or nothing just checked to see it had spark. I do not have the right compression tester to check compression yet. But, saw pulls over with a good amount of compression. I can only manage about 10 pulls before my arm falls off. I noticed the manual pump oiler is missing parts. But I will check a carcass I have here just might have it. I believe this is a 75 not to sure how to tell it from a 51 other then studs compared to bolts holding down the cylinder.

Husqvarna Wanted

First of all, Kudos to four paws for starting this thread.. Great job..

O.K.,, Now I am looking for a Husqvarna 372 or larger saw. Running, needs work, just as long as it is complete. Hopefully something in the area of southern Mn....

Please let me know what you have and what you are looking for.

I have an 18" Windsor Speed Tip, part number 18UXL50STA. Takes 66 links of 3/8" .050, according to the Chainsaw Collector's Corner it fits Homelites. http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.n...c0ac3eaf85163b9c88256e0e001fa1fe?OpenDocument
Never used. Would like to trade for the same thing in a Stihl mount.

There's probably not much call for this kind of stuff, but I also have just about any parts you can think of for first generation Mazda Miatas.

Looking for an early 064 and a muffler for a Lightning.

What do you have to trade for an early 064? I just went through one.

Hmm, well apparently I have an 041 super and an 011 that I've never actually seen yet. I could also put my hands on an 055 and a 334T. But I'm sure that what you've really always wanted is a Miata engine sitting in your living room.

Bob- thank you for the pictures. I'm guessing this has the full-length studs through the cylinder? Judging by the fact that it has the spot for a manual oiler would indicate to me that it's an 075. I'll post pics of this 262 when I finish it up. It's going to be a nice-looking runner.

Let me know what you may need for the bar. Is it new or used.
Bob

Bar is new, has a few tiny scuffs in it from sitting around. I'd like to get a similar bar for a Stihl. I can throw a chain or some files or something in with it if you've got something fancy that I'd need to trade up a little for.

I sent a PM to you about that bar. That info at acres site is wrong on that bar mount. The windsor HL is the large homelite mount. The UXL is the Poulan/Echo mount.

You may be right. I got this from Windsor's site. I won't presume to know what it fits, but this is an accurate picture of what the mount looks like.

Edit: I've gotten a couple questions about what I want for this thing. I had figured that a bar for one of my Stihls would be easy and fair, but maybe that's not going to work out. So, I dunno, maybe a dual dog kit for one of my 361s or a couple chains or some felling wedges or something. I have pretty much everything I need and none of my saws are busted. Send me some offers of stuff that you think a working arborist and gearhead shouldn't be without. If I still have the thing in a week or two, I'll put it in the trading post. Oh, I would trade it for The Fundamentals of General Tree Work book in a second.

038 Super Tank Assembly

Hello fellow AS members -- looking for a reasonably clean Sthil 038 Super tank and handle assebly. Will trade for cash. PM me with details.

Thank you,

Greg

I ran across a clean 038 Super today that was in great shape except for a busted tank/handle and muffler. Let me know if you find a pair of tanks:) I've got a nice 038 Mag P&C that work nicely on there!

HMMM I had a tank I never got paid for. It might still be around but I know it was not nice.

Have a ms460 in very good shape (stock with wrap handle) with 24" and 32" bars to trade... looking for a jonsered 2186 with at least a 28" bar

Okay just got back from the "shop" in PA. I have some Dolmar parts for the 112/114 and also some Pioneer parts for a Farmsaw and P60. Also still have the P70.

I also have 2 28" chains, not sure of the drive link count. They are .050 gauge, but I don't have any bars for that gauge. Pretty sure they are both Oregon 72.

Always looking for JRed parts, just let me know what you have and need. :)

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and happy New Year!
