I just stumbled into some trading fodder and could use a few things....

1. an 039 complete with ??? Wrong with it. It needs gone over completely, but i dont think its burned up. Saw looks decent and is complete.

2. a 262xp with a bunch of hours on it, but its in decent shape. Just pulled the jug and I think a piston and ring would get it back up and running. It does have a bad fuel line and a broken wrap handle.

3. a husky 50 in great shape that runs decent with 150# compression. It's clean, but runs funny sometimes.

4. A very clean husky 50 rancher that I rebuilt a while ago. New piston, ring, bearings, etc. needs checked out again as it cuts out after a bit. Very nice shape with extra parts including a clutch cover, top cover and more.

5. I have a nearly perfect 3400 poulan that I would consider trading also. It has a nos hard nose poulan logo 20" bar and is in fantastic shape.

6. Tons of parts to trade from all mfgs.

I'm looking for smaller saws in good running shape. No homelite rangers or Walmart poulans... I have enough of them. Preferably pro grade stuff. They can need a little work, but I have lots of saws to trade and not a lot of time to fix them right now.

I do a lot of wood cutting and will be doing more firewood ministry work this year and could use some extra, dependable smaller saws. 14-16" bars will be the norm. 36-55ccs would be preferable.

If you don't have anything to trade, cash would work.

Hey guys, I am chasing the lower half of the rear handle and the rubber grip for a Dolmar CT, I have access to a heap of 2nd hand parts as I work at a mower shop, or cash

Don't feel too bad....I bought a Jonny 80 off fleabay that had "compression". The saw had been underwater somehow and when I pulled off the cylinder, the crankcase was full of water-piston, cylinder heavily scored etc. I believe this guy is even an AS member. So yeah, hard earned money spent for nothing.......

Kevin

I have purchased a few things off AS members now with no hassles at all but I guess not every one is honest sadly

Hey KZ1000

Little off topic here but I see your screen name and am curious if you have a KZ1000 still? My dad used to have one set up as a café racer and I loved that thing.

Just sold my kz1000 police, I guy came 800 miles to get it.

That's my favorite police bike of all time...... I was helping an older guy sell off a kz1000 and he couldn't believe how many people wanted it..... And the price he could sell for.... :)

The individual you're referring to is not an AS member.

Well then, I was misinformed. And like I said, even though I was told that......I never saw him in here. Thanks for the 'truth' anyway. He has read me telling the story about the 'underwater' chainsaw though....if not as a member, then from somebody in here.
