Looking for 394 parts

Looking for Husky 394 parts or parts saw. The major parts I need are

Chainbrake parts. I need all the parts of the handle and both springs. My Clutch cover is OK. If you have a wasted clutch cover with a good handle...

Top Cover. I don't need the air filter housing but the main cover. I have a cover but it is melted in the front and has a hole near the decomp. I'm looking for one that is better than what I have.

Coil/ignition lead I really only need the ignition wire, my coil is good. I'm not sure if the ignition lead is replaceable, but I'm willing to give it a try. Maybe somebody has a bad coil with a good lead.

Throttle Safety interlock and handle insert/cover I am just looking for the interlock piece. I have the spring and pin.

Muffler support w/screws
I need the U shaped bracket on the front of the muffler with the mounting bolts.

Choke lever

Misc bolts/screws

I would be willing to buy outright or trade.

I have a complete Solo 654 (647, homelite 290/340) with new piston. The recoil is giving me fits and I have somewhat lost interest in it as a project

Complete Remington Super754 with low compression.

I have two almost new (less than 5 tanks, look perfect) saws that I would be willing to trade for a complete 394/395 if it has the parts I need. Bad top/bottom end, jug/slug missing OK. The first is a Solo 636 magnum (645, 45cc's) or a Poulan Pro 330 with a 16" bar/chain. Could include the 22" B&C too if it made a diffference.

I figure the two parts saws are worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $50 each and the new ones are somewhere in the $200 price range (each). I can buy new parts for around $200, but I figured I would give this a shot.

Please let me know by PM if you have anything that you'd like to trade, or sell. I visit the sight more or less daily. If you are interested in either of my project saws, I'd be willing to sell them outright too.

Thanks for the interest in the saws I posted. A little more response than I figured and I'll have to do some thinking. I'm not to interested in shipping so I'll probably let Mark pick through them since he can drive over. However to be fair, Hoss has first dibs on the 744. I've had CAD for twenty years so I'm not as interested in selling as I am trading for 80+ cc McCullochs. I'll reply to your PMs, when I have more time.

Tom

Tom, I wouldnt take to long to do your thinking, I only have today or tomorrow to drive over.

Seems to me that it's a little presumptuous to think I want to "pick" through them though. You only have one saw listed that I am interested in, the rest are nothing very special to me and probably most of the others.

I can pickup a K100 bowsaw tomorrow if I wanted it.

I'm also not getting into a bidding war over it, if you really want to only trade for a big Mac then I'm out anyway. Better make your best deal with Hoss.

i got a mac 110 saw that i paid from the dump it looks all there but i'm not sure and it's pretty rusty too. and it is sized maybe someone could un sized it or something. i got pictures of it if anyone is interested but i like to trade for parts for my 041 non av farmboss stihl

will a 021 cylinder work on a 024 becuase if it will i got one in good condition no marks or scoring

np at all...your 021 cylinder will only work on the 021 family of saws which include the 021/Ms210, 023/MS230, 025/MS250. You'll need the correct piston diameter for it to work, but they will bolt up to any of these saws.

OOPS didn't notice the swap meet sticky and posted in chainsaw forurm

Since coming here I have a growing case of CAD. I just purchased two more saws this weekend. The 361 had a tree dropped on the rear handle and the dealer had put a new handle assembly on it. Another dealer was setting out a saw for sale as I was picking up some parts. He had a fairly nice looking 015 he had put together. I picked it up for $80. I would like to find the front hand guard to put on it. If anyone has any parts they would be willing to sell, please send me a PM. Since joining here my interest in older saws is growing. LOL

Dolmar coil?

Someone needed a coil for a 112, but can't find the post. I have one off of a 114, same thing just electronic not points. If you still need it send me a PM.

Also have lots of parts for the 112/114 saws. I have a clutch, tank, crankcase, and a few other odds and ends. I think I still have the cylinder kicking around, but not sure how good it is. The piston was pretty wiped.
