Hey Guys,

I'm in need of some Misc Stihl bolts (recoil, muffler, etc...) I have an 041 that I'm working on that likes to vibrate them loose.

I'd love a few spares

some Husky bolts would be cool too I seem to have a couple recoils where someone backed out the screws that don't fall out :dizzy:

let me know what YOU need. (have lots of old stihl/husky/jred parts...

OH!!!! I Also need 2 AV mountS for the UPPER handle of A 70e JONSERED...

tHANKS

Jay

Hey Jay, your best bet to keep screws in that 041 is to use the new style torx bit screws, that have a knurling on the back of them that really helps hold them in. But if your in need I'm sure I have some screws that will work for ya, they are probably a slot screw right? I need to know size and length though.

i need an air filter for 034/036. fleece or flocked, new or used, doesn't matter as long as it is serviceable. must be overnighted to me (for use at a gtg)!!!
needs to be the older style for use with tall tank vent and no compensator.

i will trade a brand new, unused 036 newer style filter. and may kick in some of the overnight charges (depends on filter condition).

if i can sweeten the pot to get this done let me know how!!!

i'm still trying to locate one locally tonight (calling around).

anyone?

Well I might have an air filter, but there is no way in hell I can overnight it to you. LOL You know where I live!

drive down to the border and overnight it from there!
is that so much to ask?
:)

you know i'd just go ahead and get it from you if i weren't in a big rush to get it before i leave friday night for the 'eastern pa gtg'. (i don't have a filter that fits it at all)
if i still don't have it after this weekend you and i can make a deal.

Sure just let me know. I'll have to look though. Not sure if I got one or not, I got a box full of filters. Murphy says that's probably the one I don't have.

How's the hybrid project going?

it lacks one part.
you'll never guess which part.

i wanted to unveil it at the PA gtg. then i'll post my giant how-to thread complete with vids of it cutting at the gtg.
this is why i am in such a rush the filter.

ha ha. Well, crap. Well, ya know it might be possible to overnight it from here, but at a cost$$$$$$$$ I still don't know even if I have one.

I'd really like to hear about the project!!

I agree with using the new style fasteners...and the BLUE LOCK-TITE!!!!

slot screw?? That's what vibed out....but NOT ANYMORE!!! I stole the recoil, and top cover screws from my 044 that won't be done for a week...so this 041 can go back to work and make some money for Eric.

so I need some recoil screws I think they are 5mm x 15mm, top cover 5mm x 20mm, and a pair of muffler bolts (I think the lowers are 6mm x 20??

I could use a 044 chain catch, and a tank protector for an 066 too. not to be greedy:dizzy: but, like the spring, it's something small, someone's gota have, and the dealer (30 min away) wants too much for... I'd rather trade stuff.

There isn't a dealer between YOU and the GTG that would have a filter??? that would surprise (seriously agitate) me if it's the case

I don't have many of the new style fasteners, I got lots of the old ones. I wont have the chain catch or the tank protector. I'll check on the screws.
