Anybody got an unlimited coil for a 372 laying around? My extra doesn't want to work.

I pick mine up off eBay for about $25. You can use one off a lot of different models.

I thought only the 372 based saws ran the same coil??? (IE: 362/365/371/372, and the equivalents??

What you need? I don't have many parts left anymore. I picked up 2 off ebay and one from a member here and 2 of 3 worked. I want one to make tuning the 2171 a little easier. I'll check ebay if no one here has one to trade on.

i posted on chainsaws that i traded an older gentlemen this saw for some hickory. wife and i are giving the saw back to him + the hickory after i get it up and running again. Reason for that is this was his dads and his dad passed away 5 years ago. So we want to get it running and let him have it back since it was his dads. I need a flywheel and a coil. It does have points. So if any of you have these let me know

That's really nice of you. My dad passed away 4 years ago and I have his old Echo 280E that he used to cut firewood, mostly osage-orange, for many years. Thanks to Busmech on this site who sent me a parts saw for the shipping this old saw soldiers on.

I have an 064 that was in my garage this summer and a tree fell on the garage smashed the saw pretty good. Bent handle, broken starter cover, hole in engine cover, broken filter mount area. Saw ran prior to accident. I have and extra cylinder/slightly scored piston. Anybody have a donor saw that would get me parts to fix, or does anyone need this saw for a project? I have a few other 064 spare parts and some decent 044 cylinders. Give me some ideas.

That is correct. There are a bunch of saws that use that same coil.

I'm looking for a starter pulley for my homelite super 2. I currently have one but seems to be out of shape and gets caught up and dosent pull right. The spring looks ok but maybe should replace everything. Anyboby have extra parts?
