I'm wondering if he means the intake boot. A flange is usually a hard part, like ferrous metal, resin, or hard plastic. There really isn't anything in the 046 intake tract like that. I have lots of intake "boots" though.

Gotcha- That's actually called the filter flange or filter tract in the current Mediacat listing. I asked for one of those once at Madsen's long ago and they said "Oh, you mean the airbox cover bracket..."

Do those have that metal ring thing that goes around the intake boot, that the carb sits against?

I've got a Jonny 2159, that met a tree. It still runs, but need's a top cover, everything from the intake back and im sure a few other things. I also have a complete Husky 257, that needs a piston and a bath. I also have several other parts for various model Stihl's.

I am in need of good usuable 046/460 Cylinders. PM me if ya got any.

To make it a true 262, you need a piston/cylinder, clutch, muffler.

And carburetor. The muffler can be dealt with simply by opening it up a bit but the clutch and carburetor are weak points.
