I'm in need of a oil tank for a mac 3200. The one on this saw that I picked up has the threaded part for the oil cap busted off. PM me if ya can help me out.

Do you know if any other Mac's will work? I have a few 3200 series saws. I'll check them out today and PM you tonight will what I have.

I do not have any non-MAG 1115 saws around to check, but I believe the cylinder hold-down bolts are spaced differently on the MAG. Before you go spending any money on it, are you sure the ignition is good?

I think there less than a buck at the dealer. Thats your best bet

I knew that one of the 056 versions was the odd man out but I had thought it was the first AV version, i had thought the mags and the supers were the same cases.... I actually have two 056 supers here both with the same problem, they had brand new ignitions installed in them by the original owners only to have them run about 4 tank fulls of gas through them and then burn a hole in the piston. Apparently the original owners didn't time the new stators correctly. if you have a case laying around for a mag version if you could measure the bolt spacing and i can compare them to my cases.

The 056 Magnum and Magnum II cases are different than the Supers or AVs. The bolt spacing is quite a bit different. A Magnum cylinder can be made to fit the Super case but it takes a bit of work.

I've got a 051 parts saw, locked up tighter then a skunks a$$, and also a complete decent shape 051, turns over seems to have compression, but doesn't run and I've never looked at it, just stuck it under the bench, I could check compression if someone is interested. I'll get some pics if anybody is interested.

Always looking for 372-395 stuff. I'd really like a 390 project.

it's the same size...it just doesn't WARN us any longer..

at the VERY bottom of your PM box, there is a 'gauge'...
