my cousin fixed my moms tiller but my grandma's is still broke but we are working on it.... looking for a stihl 039p&c
i have
1:ryobi 990 longblock
2:craftsman 2.3 longblock
3: used stihl farmboss 18'' bar .325 .63ga
4: stihl 028WB anti vibe mount

I need an 8 hp briggs engine for a troy bilt horse tiller. I know its not chainsaw related, but i do have a couple I would trade. I have a strong runnining poulan 3400 145psi comp, 2 20" bars and prob 3 chains or so. Also have a completly gone thru 011 AVT. It has new seals, bearings, rings and is a strong runner. Comes with a 16" bar and stihl chain. I dont want to get rid of these saws, but i need a tiller motor to finish the season. I will buy a motor outright for the right price too.

Does it have to be a Briggs? I think I have a 8hp Tecumseh that I would sell. It's an older one but runs good.

Mini Mac in Colorado

If anyone in Colorado, the Denver area especially, has any Mini Macs they want to part with I am interested.

I have a complete ms290 engine. The cylinder and piston are scored, and the bearing in the wrist pin (inside the piston) is shot. The crank, seals, bearings, and engine pan are good.

There are several of those 'out back at my favorite Stihl dealer. I won't be able to check until the weekend, but I can probably get ya fixed up cheap.

Do you need a 3/4 inch shaft?those old troybilts often used a smaller crankshaft.I converted my 6 horse tejunksa horse to an 8 horse briggs.. Good thing the lady at the store knew enough to order the right crank sized briggs.

How about those stihl 034 outer dogs? Does anybody have them? Or know where to get some? I looked on baileys no luck.

Heck how about a cherry 034 with 2 bars and a few chains. New rings.
Saw runs exc, anybody got a nice dolmar or husky to trade!

yea, 3/4 shaft. Mine is electric start, but I still have my motor, starter, flywheel and stator so I can retrofit if I find a flathead briggs. I have found some 6.5 OHV motors, but no electric start. They want $250 for a new 6.5 OHV
