I'm searching for a rear AV for a Stihl 020AV. This is the one that has the long rear handle on it. Cash, parts..... PM me if you have one.

wonder adapter

Mower muffler with a home made wonder adapter is next step.
Prev. owner "fixed" it themselves.
The old one was run while loose, attached using 1/4-20 grade 2 bolts (def. not stock) with a gasket from a completely different husky. Muff is pitted/rusted and warped out of shape. I'm REALLY glad it didn't do any damage to the saw.

well, you got the old one for size comparisons, now start hunting for a similar size lawnmower engine flat muffler. Braze a flat plate on the back for the mounting holes maybe...I don't know what ytour exhaust looks like, only picked up one of them twice...

Would a real small old toasted cylinder from another saw maybe work, as something to start with, a l;ittle cutting and dremel work? I mean, is it an absolute that it has to be steel?? Cut it down, install sideways with a plate or something? Just thinking out loud, I love cob jobbing stuff....a finned muffler..sharp.....

Of course I can only lu####lly dream of owning a 3120, so maybe my ideas aren't real practical on such a valuable saw and you should just suck it up and buy a new muffler, then go cut one cord and sell it to pay for it....heck, a lot of areas of the country a half a cord goes for a benjamin...

Need the intake partition for a husky 50 without the air injection...my 50 does not have the boss cast in the case to accept the air injection tube. It's the only thing I need to finally get this saw running.

Sachs Dolmar 100

Still looking for a chain brake assembly, clutch cover, and oil cap. I have crupled green paper for trade.

I would like to have the whole saw if it's fairly complete.

I will take a picture of what is there. Might take me a couple of days though. Things been kind of strange around here lately. The handle assembly is broken so it is far from complete as that is what the neighbor took off it. I did see a carb in the box and the motor turns freely. Not sure of cyclinder condition.

I had a Craftsman version of the Poulan 25DA that had a ring drum system on it.

You really can't beat the price of this bar Bailey's - Carlton 14" Hobby Champ Tiger Chainsaw Bar 52 Drive Links

Somebody mentioned those rim/drum 25DA setups here a while ago. IIRC, they took an oddball rim. That won't work on my 1.9/XX either from what I understand. That's a good deal on that bar. I'll probably get some kind of cheap-o deal from Baileys when I swap that saw over to 3/8LP (if I don't end up trading with Mark). Was just offering to help Mark out since I have a 1/4" pitch bar and chain for these saws and he seems to want one...

Broken crank on a MS441

Brad/ Sawgarage, I picked the saw up yesterday and took it apart this morning. In order to press the crank out on the clutch side I had to grind flatten where the crank broke off. I was surprised on how soft the shaft material was (really soft) . My experience with stihl cranks is they are much harder than this one. Also, the clutch bearing was dry and hard to get off the shaft. I agree that I'll have a tough time finding a replacement crank. rick
