Could anyone help me ID these knobs?

There is a bunch of other stuff... I was thinking of Ebaying it, but I do not care for Ebay at all!

The knobs look like air filter cover knobs for a 031?

Rim set up for .325. Had an 028 AV I tried running 3/8 on but it wanted to chatter. Dropped down to a .325 rim and she was smooth as butter.

If the 028 AV Super will turn a 3/8 chain okay, that would be fine.

BTW, how does this work? I send the appropriate part(s) and hopefully I get the discussed part(s) in return?

All of the stuff I'm taking about is NOS Stihl branded.

I've done a LOT of trading here. I've never had any problem with any transaction. After an agreement is made I just send my end of it.

I also give parts away. I've been given many parts as well.

Great to see you here. Welcome.

Oh BTW i repped ya too. :)

Thanks SawGarage. Great help.

PogoInTheWoods, do I wait for a PM or is it all done right here?
I do have two covers, so will probably keep one and the other is up for trade. I'll use the reference list to see what else is 066.

I'm new to the swappin', too. Not sure what the protocol is. Sent a PM to initiate some side chat. Could use a whole 066 muffler along with recoil assembly, dawgs....among other things I'm realizing as I get further into the project.

Looks like there's lots of itty bitty parts...

Trigger assembly for an 08S
.404 Spur sprockets, a couple of plastic chain guides?, and an air filter for 045/056
A couple of chain brake bands for 088/880
042/048 magnesium/aluminum? recoiler and a trigger release
041 clutch cover and trigger assembly
031/032 oiler gears

and oodles more.

Guess I might as well throw this out there...

I've also got some 20" Dolmar sprocket nose bars. I think there are three or four new ones.

I believe they are 3/8 x 050. I took one and modified it to fit a Husky. Seemed to work just fine.

In case anyone is wondering, I have come across a lot of saw parts in the last few years. I have a friend who decided to quit working on saws sell me a bunch of stuff. I have also acquired "box lots" once in a while.

I used to work on saws quite a bit, but am getting a little burned out. I am no motor guru by any stretch of the imagination. I can do some of the "easy stuff" ~ piston/cylinder replacment, honing, carb stuff, clutch stuff, etc. Even had a couple of dealers I used to buy projects off of, but others have starting doing the same and the saw project wells have dried up.

Haven't worked on ports, transfers, or any such thing. Haven't even replaced crank seals yet, but probably could in a pinch.

I do still work on the occassional saw, so there are some things I'm going to hang on to, but I wouldn't mind reducing inventory.

Maybe ya'll didn't need the explanation, but there it is anyway.

brake/clutch cover

I need a husky 340/345/350 or jred 2145/2150 chain brake/clutch cover with all of the chain brake parts. The cover itself can be a huge POS, but the brake guts need to all be there. I just picked up a 2150 jred and its missing this stuff.

I've got stuff to trade or cash.
