I have some 026 air filters, but I think they are all for the pro with the intellicarb and the pro style filter cover.

I have two of the pro style covers, and the filter is bigger. I have none of the earlier filter covers. That is why I wanted to swap to the later tank. To fit the filter, and use a cover I already have. I'm going to have to find parts either way.

Yeah, thats where i was, I tried to make a pro filter fit a non pro, and it really isnt feasibly possible without butchering the filter cover all to pieces. But that is how a person learns I suppose. I ended up buying a new filter for the 026 non-pro.

I think I have the clutch cover with chain brake assembly for this. It might evenbe new old stock.

Yep, I have two 026 filters (Pro). One just needs the attaching bolts for the carb. I also have the new handle you are looking for. It is part number 1111 791 4902, says it fits 050,051,075,076. Let me know if you still need that too.

Yeah, the 031 has two of those buffers on the rear handle. I'm going to take my wish list to my dealer today and see what I can get and will let you know if I need the one you have......Thanks!

You know how these projects go.....The deeper I get into this saw the more things I find that need fixing......I really want to make the old girl run again though, and I hate taking things apart twice.

My Stihl dealer tells me that the 031 rear buffers are poised for deletion out of the system, but appear still available.....I've ordered those.

I'm really in a bind for a fuel tank gasket, though. Part # 1113 359 0700 (no longer available)

It's a really narrow gasket, so I would rather not make it.......Anyone have a new surplus one???
