Not sure, it isn't the flywheel, but rather the intake block causing problems. Both cases use the 2 piece ignition but the block on the 625 mounts with 2 screws to the case. The mounting holes aren't there on the 630 case. I would drill and tap but there isn't enough meat on the case to get a good (or any) grip. I would try a different intake block, but that won't work because of no mounting screws in the cylinder.

Are you speaking of the BOOT retainer? Which holds DOWN the boot??

as 625 & 670's are external impulse (clamp on boot), and the 630 is internal (bolt on intake block)

Damn man ever time I pick up that 372 I got from you I am grinnin like a opussum on freash road kill. When the other package arrives I doubt if I will ever need the wife around again. Pile o stihl 031/32

I was given a pile of Stihl 031AV and one 032AV, couple runners and few parts units in various stages of negect.
Going to put the runner 031AVE on local Craigs list but the others are up for grabs, I've swapped my self silly lately but this shipping thing is real costly! I'm going to far out on my saw fund!

Stihl 031AVE I switched back to points but has seal leak, runs with choke half on only. Not carb related, I rebuilt carb so its kitted. P/C great shape. Complete
Stihl 031 OLD version has wasted crank bearing, good P/C, has spark, bad front AV mount
Stihl 032 AVE In pieces now, No spark, all looks good, lost interest in it
Stihl 031 Parts saw in pieces minus points/coil/flywheel

Saw with B/C is runner, other is seal leak saw

Also a Craftsman/Roper 3.7 chainsaw, turns over
