In desperate need of Stihl 084 parts saw or individual parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for recoil, gas tank / rear handle, engine shroud plastics, air box plastics, oiler. Kind of on a budget. The parts don't have to be pretty. It is a work saw. Thanks again.

051 is 52mm bore I believe.....075 is 58mm bore

Exhaust flange at cylinder bolt patterns.....(051)...42mm C-C ...(075)...46mm C-C

Here is a Question for your Sthil guys. I have a NOS piston here its 58mm 1111 prefix can't remember the rest, but its single ring windowns are different then the 075 piston and its domed, someone has written on it 051S? Is there such a thing as a 051 super?

There was, it's kind of a legendary saw. Stihl was working on a factory hotrod in the form of a souped up 051.
It would have the displacement of an 075 on the 051 chassis. They made some prototypes with removable heads
and sent them to some dealers to demo. They've been posted about here a couple times. Saw-king's shop has one.
If you have the piston, that's a pretty good score. You could make a hotrod 075 out of it.

There's two 075/076 mufflers on eBay right now for $100 each.

Yeah, that's only $20 above the last list price. I'll pass. I'm not gonna participate in falsely inflating the value of saw parts.

When one of those in the "endless supply" stops running. Send it my way.

Been holding on to a handful of parts from a converted 051 for awhile now waiting for an 075/76 to show up on the cheap.

Usually they want too much for them here. I see blown up 075/076s on Craigslist for $400 all the time. I wouldn't give but
maybe 1/4 of that price.

Well, that's pretty cool. Can you tell anything from the part number? I'll go take a pic. I got to go out and get some stuff together for Rob anyway.

If it's the piston I'm thinking of, then it's the one that they had a removable head for. If you were to use it
in a regular 075/076 cylinder, then you'd have to either re-profile the dome or cut the squish band to match.

Two muffler covers for 075/076 is a tall order I agree.
The last list price on those from Stihl was $155 each...
Will is first in line for parts as far as I'm concerned.

WHOA!!! $155 each? holy lord! I would NOT expect them to have been THAT much! maybe the tank/recoil assy...

10-4 on Will in line 1st...

Shucks... I guess you knew what I meant when I said 'differences in piston'... I meant muffler/cyl bolt pattern.

BUT you answered both :)

Hey, it looks identical in height to the 075 piston. Actually, I'm going to post this in my 075 thread, do you mind coming over there JJ to check it out. This isn't what this thread is for. Anyone else want to see this piston head over there.

066/660 3/4 wrap handles. Two if you got 'em. Prefer Stihl 3/4 wrap, old or new style.

Still need a Walbro carb for the 064.

Need the inside cover for the 046, that goes over the chain break mechanism. The one on the saw fell off in two pieces.

Got a few 066/660 parts and some 361 parts to trade.
