No, 051 has a different bolt up to the cylinder than the 075/076
Ok, thanks.

Is an 051 muffler the same? Or will one work? I may have one of those.
Yeah, like Rob said, a lot of the 051 stuff is different. That's why a bunch of members here have 051 carcasses.
I have a buddy that runs the TS-760 concrete saws so I may be able to get us 075/076 parts through him. A
lot of the 760 stuff will cross over.
this is the intake side of the cylinder
You do know that cyl is junk, correct?? Those lighter colored marks are aluminum where the nikasil coating has been worn away...Same reason why the piston is ultra-thin.
I'm looking for an 075 muffler as well, if you got a spare. I know I have your 242 air filter and muffler, as well as some other parts you asked about.

Ya. Ok, Besides the piston and cylinder, all I need is a couple muffler covers, so far.

Was wondering if someone was going to say something! LOL. And this guy is a sponsor.
See....and you said I don't have anything that you might need. oke:
What is the difference between the 051 and 076 piston? I may have a NOS muffler
a COUPLE muffler covers?! as in 2+???
lol.
Two muffler covers for 075/076 is a tall order I agree.
The last list price on those from Stihl was $155 each...
Will is first in line for parts as far as I'm concerned.
Ya, those covers are always busted.

Hey Rob,
what's different? :msp_confused:
051 is 52mm bore I believe.....075 is 58mm bore
Exhaust flange at cylinder bolt patterns.....(051)...42mm C-C ...(075)...46mm C-C
oh i didn't know that i'm still learning about this stuff that whyhe sold it. i paid 30 bucks plus shipping for it and he said it was in great shape but he didn't take no pictures of the cylinder or anything but what he showed that came with it and thats it.
Will an 075 P&C bolt on a 051 frame??
It can be done, a couple guys here have done it with good results. I've never done it because there's
an endless supply of running 075/076s here so there's no need to convert one in my area.

Dont feel bad, heck I'm 43 years old and I still learn something new everytime I tear into a saw:msp_confused:
Have those parts for your 041 got to you yet?
