Stihl Helmet Trade?
Need a few things to finish a couple projects I got going on right now and want to trade one of my nice Stihl Helmets for some parts.
I need a 041AV donor saw with good P/C, starter, handle, chain guard and a few other parts. Basically a complete 041AV power head would be nice. I have a good crankcase so if what you have has a bad crankcase no worries.
I also need a nice 3/8 050/063 25" to 28" Stihl bar and chain for my 041 SUPER project. Prefer the vintage hard nose type, or roller nose type in good condition w/ good paint, but will consider trading for modern sprocket nose if the right size and in good shape w/ good paint.
Trying to trade straight across or put as little $ towards the trade as possible. Shoot me your offers, least I can say is "thanks" but "no thanks" :msp_smile: Dont want to come across as being picky on the parts, just throwing it out there to let you know what I want to trade for:msp_smile:

I got a 024 handle/tank coming in sometime this week. I know it dont have the interlock, but if they send the throttle linkage with it then concider it yours :msp_smile: I owe you for the part you sent me a while back anyway
Looking for a screw wedge
I am lookiing for a screw type wedge that was desgned to be put on a 1/2 in rachet and screwed into tree or log to remove pinched saw.I have not seen one in years and know they were sold at farm machinery show in louisville ky in the early 80s. If anyone has or knows where i can find one of these little gadgets please let me know. thanks. dj
