Anybody got some spare rhubarb?

Funny you should mention rhubarb. The wife and I were just talking about it. Her Dad had some of the prettiest rhubarb plants I'd ever seen. The folks that moved in his house after he died tilled up that whole area and sowed it in grass. Now I never had a grass pie......but rhubarb pie is some damn good stuff. I wanna get me some rhubarb plants of my very own. So......Has anyone got any rhubarb that you could bring yourself to part with? And could you deliver it to 38556 and help me plant it? Also of import is the warranty said rhubarb would have.....I mean no one wants rhubarb that ain't got no guarantee....

I think the guy that gave it to me said it was a 36 inch saw.
I have know way to know. It looks like the blade part sticks out about 18.5" past the yellow part

They grow exponentially the closer you get, so a 20" saw viewed from a normal range of say 5' is actually a 36" saw when viewed from 2' away or an 80" saw when viewed at 1'. This is all relative to the exact location of the yellow part of course and must be considered for predictable probability. For my compete hypothesis on this subject see: "Understanding saw measurements in the time space continuum"

Unless he napalmed it when he tilled it, I'll be very surprised if it doesn't come back up. You could plant it in your driveway and it'd grow.

I can send you some if you really want it. Would I be allowed to send that across the border? Probably not. Aaron might part with a plant or two.

Enough with the saw talk already. We got a hijack going on here.:msp_rolleyes:

You guys ARE a couple of rhubarbs.....:dizzy:

Despite my best efforts (complete neglect, and outright hostility with the string trimmer), I still have three live rhubarb plants on the side of my house. Used to be a dozen or so on both sides of the house. They are OLD plants (30 plus years) that still fire off fresh shoots every year. I'd dig 'em up and send 'em to you two yahoos, but it'd be expensive, stupid, and illegal (especially sending one to Greenland).

Send some to mastermoobs, Aaron. I can have rhubarb pretty much anytime, it's a weed almost here.

Funny you should mention alcoholic beverages........

Repeat after me........

Step 1: We admitted that we were powerless over alcohol and our life had become unmanageable.
