I prefer red..its let's me know if I have been in there bf. I also use a dab on seals. On a lot of saws I start and stop, waiting for parts or something else jumps ahead on the priority list. The red polish keeps me from retracing steps I have already covered.

Homelite XL-12 Carb

My uncle gave me his Homelite XL-12 that he purchased new many, many moons ago. I want to keep it just for sentimental reasons and use it from time to time cutting firewood. I'm looking for a carb for it, preferably the Tillotson HS-179-B Carburetor but the SDC-62 Carburetor would be fine too. If you have one you dont need, even if it needs rebuilt, I'll trade you out of it. Thanks ~Z

Anyone have a top handle they'd like to trade (a small echo or such would work) for this Roybi / Redmax? Saw is very low miles with new-ish 14" tsumura bar, I did open the muffler up a bit and slotted the carb screws for easy adjusting, strong running little saw. Says: Zenoah Made in Japen on the cylinder.

I have a nice ehco 610 evl. I am trading runs great compression and spark new plugs and putting in new carb kit.. the saw not been ran much sprocket is not worn good chain and good bar not junk the av mounts are good oiler works good puts out plenty of oil not junk floods a little why i am putting in a new carb kit
