While we're talking mufflers, I can also use some front covers for 026 mufflers.

Yeah... Couldn't we all use some 026 front muffler covers. It's ridiculous that you have to pay almost new money for a used one. I'm Starting to thing that I am going to start cutting my own flat panels to put in the front of them that are a little heavier guage steel so they don't break. It wouldn't have the dish/bowl shape but it would cost me $1 to make them... not $25 for a used one or $30 for an AM one...

If one of the Chinese manufacturers was smart they'd start making stamped steel front covers for $10ea... They'd sell like hot cakes!

That being said if anyone has a broken front cover or two that have the bolt tabs missing... I'll take them!!!!

I have a 24" Total Super with an Oregon chain. Both are like new with a few test cuts. .058, 3/8th pitch, Husky large mount.
I also have a 16" Husqvarna bar and Oregon chain. This bar and chain has minimal use and is still excellent. .058, 3/8th pitch, Husky large.
This bar is also the older Oregon manufactured bar.
The Total - 100 shipped and PP'd OBO!
The 16" - 40.00 shipped and PP'd OBO!
Make offer for both! PM me Thanks

I have this Echo 452VL. It runs and cuts and oils. The front bar stud was stripped and repaired with epoxy. The bar is wore out bad. There are some other cracks and chunks missing but appear to be not major functional issues. I would like to trade for a sprocket tip bar and chain 3/8 18" for a sthil 261.

Has anyone tried one of the $35 AM cranks off Ebay? LINK

DO IT!!!

no, but MIGHT just try...

seems the FACTORY cranks don't last the 2,000 hrs that the saw is 'rated' for.... one wonders if it's the wonderful 50:1 mix the EPA specs out :frown: causing lack of lubrication to the bottom end.
