Good luck finding anything used for the 088, I would just spend the 300 bucks and get a brand new one from thechainsawguy.

I know that's probably not what you want to hear. But that's likely all you'll be able to find.

Did you try calling Solo or visiting solousa.com? They're pretty darn helpful. If they don't have it there, they sometimes can get you in contact with old dealers that have NOS stuff.

BTW: That's a pretty neat 100cc saw. Hope you get her fixed up.

I have a modded 026 fuel tank that accepts the 044 carbs. It is in great shape and includes what you see, NEW 038 carb boot and clamp, carb studs. You will have to use your fuel line, impulse line, trigger assembly, fuel cap, modded 044 carb, etc. No cracks, repairs, or anything else that would keep it from preforming well. May require minor adjustments to fit your saw and carb. I'd rather just use a 026 carb and keep it simple.

I want to trade for the same thing, a stock clear 026 tank, in just as good condition. Might sell also.

The cases are the same. Only the crank/flywheel is different on the bottom end.

Hey Fred- yeah like Brad said, they're the same. This is a big bore builder saw for a friend so I'd like to find him a pretty clean set.
