T540XP gas mist coming out of air intake

I was using a T540XP and noticed gas smell and it getting wet. I thought there was a fuel line that had disconnected, but when I took the air filter off it was wet. I started and ran it without the filter and obvious gas mist was blowing out of the air intake. Very odd. Runs poorly too, obviously rich. I know nothing about these Autotune saws and what would cause this so I'm looking for some knowledge here.

Normally it is caused from a piston that has a piece broken off the skirt on the intake side or the skirt is just worn. Reed valve motors will do this if the reed valve is leaking too. Check to see if muffler is blocked too.

Water ingestion can cause intake skirt damage too.
