Going to have a little tailgate party at Johns place on the weekend of the 20th. If the weather works out, we will be cutting on saturday. All are welcome to come and enjoy the festivities.
Please let me know if you plan on attending, so we have enough wood to cut.

Thanks
Hunter

John is Gypo. He lives in Canada about 2 hours north of the falls.
Let me know if you need any other info. Ill get an exact adress and such form john today sometime.
Thanks
Jerod

myself I would like to see the wood be hard maple, that is one of the hardest woods here and would be more fair to the others coming and would be a good test for the saws

The racesaws are fun but I get to see them all summer. I would like to see some everyday worksaws step up and shine. Just gas and oil no additives.. I think that would make it fair across the board.
Gypo,
I still have the 021 stroker. I'll half to give it the tickle this weekend. I'm setting it up for 92 Octaine. It will be just a fun saw not a go out and limb you lot all day saw.

Later,
Chris

Stihlman 036,
So does that mean you ae going to make it? Let me know for sure if you can. Just trying to line up all the count for wood.
Hunter

Hardmaple sounds good to me. I am bringing my work saws. I have alot of hours on them. Dont have any race chains, just work chains.
Should be a good time.

never been to canada.. works slowing dn here, and have to make a livin, when and where i can..so that takes priority..
but do u have to have a pass port to enter canada..things slow dn enuff and i may opt to head that way.. of course id be doing other things also ,but mite try,, an time it,, so i could be in that area..
been thinking about hitting the woods
for several weeks,an refreshing my survival skills..
still ,, never been to canada so mite
decide to do that instead..tony..
ps my passport question is probably dumb ,but i really dont know..the only time i was in other countries was while in the service..all u needed then was a little back pocket money ,and u was welcome in any port..:)

All you need to enter Canada is a Birth certificate and a picture ID. A passport will get you in no questions asked. Why not make the trip? Isn't that what life is about adventure, meeting people. seeing the rest of the world.

carpi diem Right

Tony,
All I usually take is my Drivers Liscense and my Birth Certificate.
Havent had a problem at all.

Now that wade is going with me, the border guards may want to frisk him.lol

My last trip to Canada involved a full body cavity search, and they
took my .357 Magnum.
Confiscated my 200 cartons of cigarretes, and drug me off
to a dark room and beat me senseless.
During the interogation, I let the name Lambert slip out.

That changed things a bit.
They then blindfolded me, and took me back to the border,
and told me, "We don't like your kind here, don't come back, eh?

But otherwise, it is a great place to visit.

Fish,
Glad you brought that up.

DON'T under any circumstance, mention the Name
JOHN LAMBERT.
He is wanted for smuggling saws across the boarder.

I forgot to mention this earlier.

:D

WHAT. Why? Have heard a lot, but thet is just cruel. Pick on something your own size!!!!!

Leave the pore Wiskey alone!!!

Here in Ky., the only thing we do is make whiskey, raise and
race horses, raise tobacco and marijuana, we would have
casinos but we don't have any indians.
Wild Turkey is made 2 miles from here, which according to my math is about 70 km.

I was trying to create an international incident, but not with
Sweden.

Just trying to start something with Canada, so we can invade
and get some flushots and better healthcare, but they are likely
knee deep in snow already.

I do want to come to one of these get togethers though to
show off my "Fisherized" Eager Beaver.

I let Lambert play with my Wild Thing when he was here, but I
didn't want him to even see my Beaver, he would steal my
hotsaw technology and claim it as his own.

For goodness sake Hunter dont say that...........I have had run-ins in the past............. the law make's me sick to my stomach and I am sure border guards will do the same..........Whats the beer of choice in Canada?...............Wade
