Terry vs the hickory

I just did a hickory the other day, smelled just like a bottle of sauce. I asked others if they thought the same, they did.

Yeah Terry did a sick job, went real smooth. With the help of Olddirt on some of the cuts, it went real well. The best part was, we got there at like 8, and were done around 230 clean up an all. Busted it out, but wasn't all that bad. Good team work and good climbing on Terry's part considering the 20-30mph winds against him. I think there is a pic of me and olddirty, he might even be smiling in this one!

Yeah Terry did a sick job, went real smooth. With the help of Olddirt on some of the cuts, it went real well. The best part was, we got there at like 8, and were done around 230 clean up an all. Busted it out, but wasn't all that bad. Good team work and good climbing on Terry's part considering the 20-30mph winds against him. I think there is a pic of me and olddirty, he might even be smiling in this one!

Gotta go back again later in the year to do some more pruning, and possibly take down another hemlock. It was strange at that place... with the size of the crew, it was actually easier to carry the brush up the first 40 stairs, then lift it up over a wall probably 10' in height, and then go up the last 40 stairs... because of the bends in the staircase.

thats how terry talked me out of this one. lol.

tall and leggy with some brush to it. of course up the hill in the backyard so no equipment with not much for room under the tree. the boys worked hard on this one and terry had himself a great climb in some strong winds.

good times had by all. oldirty had my back all day with his god-like roping. nice to look down and see his beaming smile. at least the boys were able to drag the brush down the stairs instead of up. the pictures don't do the wind any justice. a little sea sick when i touched the ground. nothing an iced coffee and a few fart jokes couldn't fix. thank you sir, may i have another?
