I noticed there is still a bit of slinging going on in the Chinese chainsaw thread. Instead of crapping on with the Yanks and irritating them, take it up with me in this thread.

A lot of Aussies have been programmed with Australian propaganda on the firearm issue. When they spout that BS to more informed people they look like idiots. Stop the "in America" BS.

When all this Oz propaganda was happening back in the late 1980's I took a look at the actual statistics. Violence is a cultural issue. Most of the firearm deaths in America were related to young black males engaged in turf wars. The statistics for rural America were similar to rural Australia.

I looked just across the border from America to Mexico and found their murder rate was twice that of America, most of it done with cutting insturments. In Australia, I found that the murder rate for Northern Territory Aboriginals was 7 times the American rate.

The murder rates for various countries had nothing to do with the per capita ownership of firearms. Switzerland is often used as a country with a high firearm rate and very low murder rate. Violence is a cultural phenomena.

The disarmament agenda in Oz was initiated very early. A gunsmith mate of mind had a meeting in Washington DC in the late 1970's and was advised that it was going to happen. He didn't believe it until it all started happening. Rebbecca Peters was sent to Oz in 1982 (Coalition for Gun Control). The actual push began in 1984. Aussie Dave can probably relate some of the efforts of Stewart Beattie in those early years. I didn't get involved until 1988.

Yep, nobody in Oz will do anything. I've given those articles to prominant politicians, to many police and sheriff officers, to various magistrates and judges (including one High Court Judge I knew), media personalities and of course the alleged representatives of the shooters.

I was surprised that the SSAA actually put the 'Gun Runner' article in their archives. I had given it to them many years ago and they refused to acknowledge it. However, someone doing research for the archives found it on a Viet Nam veteran's site (my old unit from my second tour) and included it in the archives. The SSAA flat out refuses to put the articles on the Port Arthur evidence in their archives. The opposite is true about America, a few sites in America have posted the articles.

I'm retired now and worn out from all the BS. Some of you younger fellows will have to pick up the fight.

The same thing happened in South Africa about 10 years ago. The majority of registered firearms had to be handed in, but the criminals got to keep all their illegal firearms. It did wonders for the crime rate, as you could imagine...

I did some reading on that article one of ya folks put up... and that PA massacre sounds completely like an inside job... why else would they completely ignore that treasure trove of evidence? (the food tray)

Another thing I've heard, and some claim this is true... but I'm not sure. Some say 9/11/01 was an inside job...

I wish there really was a 'Red Pill' that people could take to wake themselves up to the Matrix we live in.

Further, I had an interesting lunch with a retired Colonel of Military Intelligence shortly after I figured it out. We played cat and mouse over the issue until he finally cornered me and asked who I thought did it, when I told him he laughed and agreed. Our wives thought it was something out of a Tom Clancey novel as they listened to us discuss it.

I don't get it. There is now heaps of information available for guys like you to put it all together and all you can do is start going on about Elvis and moon landings.
