whats a full rebuild on this saw going to cost
or does some one have a good bottom end for a 031 to sell me

Mate I put an OEM stihl outer spike on my 381 the part number is 0000 660 0850
was loking at the specs for the 031 av and piston is 44mm but on that link it says 46mm, or am i missing some think here
Got another 031AV here with good bearing so will take the top off and hopefully just set of rings, make one good saw out of 2
measure the piston too.. just for interest sake and wear too! there are lots of different sizes it seems for them AM.

Ok, Just took the top off and heres the findings, im hoping to only need new rings, what your thoughts
Yes but had trouble with the coil lead, was going to replace it, i havent tried starting it for about 3 yrs
it had a piece of stiff wire in the end of it to the spark plug, a real pain in the butt until it zapped me, when i first got it
how can you tell its a later version
yes ,well thats what it says on the handle, does this model not have pointsMy brain cell thinks it can see a later model coil....Is it an 031 AV Electronic ?
