Oh yeah my comments were not directed at chippy even though he may be offended by what I said is just my opinion on the matter..
chippy in my book is a top bloke ,would the world be a better place if everyone had the same compassion for mankind no matter as chippy does? hell yeah! but sadly I don't think the world is like that its all gone to chit!, even on a basic family level nowadays you under no circumstances let your kids out of your site when your out in public with your loved ones and that's fact!.... Ignoring bullchit, I fear, runs the risk of passively endorsing it and could be but one mechanism that allows it to take hold before adequate scrutiny. We've become so bloody PC it could easily be used against us. I often wonder what the good buggers who fought/sacrificed for the way of life we have now think about how little we seem to be willing to stand up for it, defend/endorse the good aspects while guarding against the bad ones, or how selective we have become in which arenas we choose to engage others or objectively scrutinise.

I'm not having a dig at you, and I appreciate agro in this thread is a bit hard to swallow at times, but I kinda welcome the discourse if it helps shed some light on the areas of contention without getting too petty or insulting. But, heck, this is a Aussie dribble thread and I'm a Kiwi so that's the last I'll write about it before I get my visa revoked.

Was meant to be a mill log was growing out on a wet flat and all the water rings didn't show up tell we got it back to the mill, ya win some ya lose some it went into firewood expensive firewood at that with the royalty on mill logs we pay ,probability a 700 dollar pulse log thereabouts....

Yes quite a warm day here too, just washed the 4x with no shirt and feeling a little burn happening, dried up here too, fire season not far away again...

I am only new on here and will be no great loss to the forum but much of the stuff 460cixy spouts goes beyond a yarn or simple opinion. It smacks of personal attack and bigotry and wouldn't be tolerated at either my Grandfathers, parents or my house.

I am ashamed to think the rest of the world may view him as an average Australian.

If it keeps up I won't stay simply out of principle, it is embarrassing.

i havent been here all that long either but this thread used to be about Aussies posting whatever they thought was funny or appropriate without fear of offending anyone. Seems the new age of touchy feely has affected the dribble as well. Guess it was only a matter of time. [emoji15]
