Islamics Launched their Crusades in 630 A.D.
Western Crusades started in 1095 A.D. to Stop Muslim Invasion
The Crusades were started by the Muslims in the year 630 A.D. when Muhammad invaded and conquered Mecca. Later on, Muslims invaded Syria, Iraq, Jerusalem, Iran, Egypt, Africa, Spain, Italy, France, etc. The Western Crusades started around 1095 to try to stop the Islamic aggressive invasions. Islamic Crusades continued even after the Western Crusades.
Islam – Not a Religion of Peace
Islam has killed about 270 million people: 120 million Africans*, 60 million Christians, 80 million Hindus, 10 million Buddhists, etc.

Forced conversions to Islam have been the norm, across three continents—Asia, Africa, and Europe—for over 13 centuries. Orders for conversion were decreed under all the early Islamic dynasties, under both Seljuk and Ottoman Turkish rule, and in Persia/Iran and the Indian subcontinent, etc.

Islam has been at a continuous war against non-Muslims for almost 1400 years (since Muhammad.)

Good explanations from everyone re the wattle/acacias

I haven't seen blackwood loose it's bark so readily but then there's lots I haven't seen too....

I have what I am sure is another type black wattle without bark and the timber directly under the lost bark is black....black as, it then lightens up immediately and goes through reds all the way to white in the heart.....it's hard as and burns great...

I suspect there are many types of black wattle though and I'm sure some burn better than others but that stuff I posted in the bottom pic I'd say is softer than Cyprus, and that's a medium hardness timber....so that's making it difficult for me to call it a wattle/Acacia and I thought maybe something random like a type of peppermint or something...

Um I'm not entering into this but I did not know muslims made kebabs ????, just a dumb timberman I guess.
in our little part of the world we have a family who make kababs to sell at our plaza, just a little family show. All the family work there 7 days a week and I think they are Turkish but nice people just the same. They know all the locals and their kids play sport with ours and fit into our area good.
I could go a kabab from there just now, with a tooheys stubby or two.

alas it tea time here so alls good here and so on.

A shish kebab is Arabic, meaning meat on a stick. Arabs our typically Muslims...

Turks are also typically Muslims. Good race of people them Turks....remember Gallipoli.
