I couldn't pull start any of said powerheads.
The decomp button thingy on the 241 is the only reason I bought it.

What are you guys using to drill your bars? I tried concrete drill bits and that wasn't the best. Got there in the end but must be better ways.

I use hss bits, but slowly and lots of coolant, some of the older Oregon bars are hard as and if you over heat them they harden up like the hinges of Hades. I do sharpen once I notice that the bit starts dulling a bit.
This is all done on a drill press, not enough control with a hand drill on the speed, buggered up many bits before I replaced the motor on the drill press

that's how I do it, the later Oregon bars are better to drill, as ''Will'' said, needs sharp drills or trouble...... been there and learned from that.

Home day today folks,,, footy later, can't wait.

Well done to the wallabies for tipping those sanctimonious, arrogant pommie pricks out of their own world cup. Oz are looking a little too good compared to the ABs at this stage.

Can find a few CNC end mills, etc that are 8% cobalt, and can find these too:

and individual 5% bits but looking closely at the ends it looks like the grind quality might not be to any great standard. Whether or not that makes a difference to plebs like me is questionable.

Those American ones are cheap!!

You could be right. Mainly 5% for drills and 8% for the milling cutters. You'll be right with the 5% ones tho. Heaps better that cheap HSS.
