One day I'll jump in the 4wd and head off into the Victorian High Country. When I do I'll put Beechworth on my list of places to visit. I'll bring a chainsaw too :msp_biggrin: There is some big timber up there, and the McCulloch wont cut it......literally.

Regards
Graham

Yeah Beechworth is a nice spot, they have good pies and stuff...

Lol, yeah Al anywhere along a fence line will do..........for No 1's at least!

Al, glad you didn't leak in Lake Hume - such a beautiful stretch of water. I grew up on the its shores in the late sixties and seventies. Lord, what a glorious place.

I like the comment that you could drop half a million on a terraced house built by Ned Kellys grandfather.

Here in NSW there are moves afoot to reduce the size of land to below 200sqm that you are allowed to build a house upon. I am amazed that, with the size of Australia, that we could live in blocks of land so small. Nobodys kids can play in their yards anymore so they roam the streets, getting into trouble. Having smaller blocks also overloads the services and drainage systems, as there are more houses on less land.

We should all be on bigger blocks, period! I am on a big block in Sydney, at a whopping 820sqm.

Regards
Graham

yes i agree but if we do that how dose the poor council rape oops reap the rewards of more houses on the same amount of land and the system tells our kids they are not responsable for what they do so they are happy getting pissed
and roaming the streets and the parents dont care ........

When did you sneak in here Rudi? :msp_sneaky:

Another great Moto2 race. They need to rename it the 'backin it in" class. Great stuff.

I passed through a while ago, but sadly I didn't spot your HD Patrol anywhere.

090 man, that's why the treads here mate, it's a campfire chat for the Aussies (and we'll even tolerate a Kiwi or two :D) to ramble on about anything with the odd bit of saw/cutting chat too.

Thanz for responding and not ignoring my post. So many topics here do you guys ever get through all the different threads or just pick out a few and stick with them.
I am just watching a few at this stage as they are interesting enough without going further, the chinese 090 thread is tops and the man building it has answered my questions so far. on a couple of other threads about 090's i never got an answer so thought the guys are a bit clicky and i don't know anyone here.

Heres a little dribble or should i say top secret stuff that will automaticely shoot you as soon as you read it

I wrote and asked the person of xxxxx.com if they marketed a full AV kit for the early 090 sounds as though they are interested in doing such a kit

now the wait begins i just hope i hear good news as those babies are hard to get.

I just have a look at the couple of threads that interest me, I spend too much time here as it is :D

All forums can be cliquey, but it seems that the Aussies and Kiwi's tend to watch out for each other a bit as well as a few really good blokes from around the world.

We may not always agree, and at times we :potstir: like there's no tomorrow but I don't think anyone takes anything to heart as we tend to watch each others back. ;)

Good work McBob, I was thinking of doing the same thing. I'm not sure why the chinese haven't copied it yet... they have copied everything else.

If you knew someone who had a milling machine and tig they could probably knock up a similar AV system out of alloy, might be a bit exy though.

No promises but its worth a try, price will be the next thing and how complete an AV system it will be he's hoping

Got my second 070 today but it won't be an 070 for long i have enough bits here to put the second 090 together just waitin' on a shipment from Germany

All going well mate. She's sleeping and being a little angel for now anyway :) As far as nipples go Tracy hasn't let me near them for a while now so I've been unable to have a chew for a bit. Thanks for rubbing that in...

There's a positive to that............he'll be able to hang more spoons! :msp_thumbup:

Yeah thanks Al. Smartarse ;)

I, too am intersted in grinding wheels - you have the good oil Matt?

Al.

I've had really good luck with the GB wheels and they grind really nicely and quickly. I've also used more expensive brands such as Precision Tooling and Carlton etc but they tended to be less aggressive and more prone to overheating cutters. The Jakmax wheels are sourced from the same place as the GB's and are exactly the same so all good there - they're only available in 22mm centres in 145mm and 22.2mm in 105mm so some of the cheaper, plastic grinders need not apply.
My main reason from switching to ABN/CBN Dinasaw wheels was to eliminate the dust from the standard wheels. I was blowing black snot out for days after sharpening only a handful of chains and the crap got everywhere. The only thing ejected from the Dinasaw wheels is steel/chrome off the cutter so the mess they make is about 25% of a standard wheel. The fact that they never lose shape and grind with less heat are other positives. My 4.5mm wheel is due for a recoating so have to sort that out soon :( I think it's about $150 or something.

Are you saying these wheels wont fit my plastic all aluminium cheap arsce grinder?

Anytime brudda, you know I'm good for it! :msp_thumbup:

I forgot to take a look at your melon last time I saw you so didn't actually take note of it's size - I'd say it's regular or you'd be hooking it up in too many antennas and blocking signals etc. Mine is about 62cm so in proportion with my guts.

Nah they'll fit your grinder mate. Although cheap there are even CHEAPER grinders than yours on the market that are absolute garbage. I have a work meeting tonight and a conference at 7:30am in the morning so will get my butt into my shed to check ASAP but I think I already have some once used GB wheels there that you can have if interested. 22mm and 145mm was your wheel specs if I remember correctly from your PM which is the same as the grinders the grown ups use :D
