Just a random fact - The dollar is up to $1.105 on the US. I wonder how this will effect my CAD :msp_unsure:... lol

Bring one bike to the GTG and people will try and show off.

Bring two bikes and we will have a race meeting:msp_sneaky:

Your CAD may have to take a hit as the bastards also dropped the import limit from AUD$1000 to AUD$500 over the last few weeks :mad2:
Gonna struggle to write a new 660 down that far without ringing some alarm bells. However pulled apart and sent in two packages well...

Geez, when did Customs drop that little bomb ?

Take it easy on that quad bloke,i had truble with one a couple of years back, could not lift a chainsaw for 6 months and didnt work for 12 months.I was only going walking pace haha,so from know on i go fast and havnt had a problem since.

Yeah Andrew I know all about stacking quads mate. I ended up with about 4 months off work myself and still having neck and shoulder issues. Hit a cow hole at 90kph and was KO'd in the paddock for a while. Sorta hurt a tad and at the time they thought I'd broken my neck :) Must have been the inertia from my fat head...

A mate told me today that he'd read it in The Advertiser sometime last week. Wankers...

so does the custom thing include the shipping costs??? cause I was told it does, by customs many times....but many here have said it doesnt....:bang:

Stihl: So I fixed and old BG55 blower a while back and it had sat for a while (fuel draind) fired it up, all good, but a tank leak...looks like it was the vent. So I ring the local ego merchant, I mean Stihl dealer, and describe what happening....before I could finish he tells me its the 2 fuel lines that come out of the tank.....I say no ive checked these and I can see the fuel bubbling out from around the vent....He tells me the vent is incorporated in those 2 lines....I tell him NO its a serperate vent and Im looking at it right now.....he says no it doesnt have one and I better bring it in so HE can show me and then says good bye....short story I order a SEPERATE vent for $15 and its fixed.....GO STIHL!!!!!!!!!

Makita: I may have convinced my mate to by one of those DC6401's from the bay...which is actually sydney tools...I couldnt believe it, I figured it would be hard to get this guy to spent $300 on a saw...But he seems pretty keen.....I did make it easy by sending him to the Stihl shop to price saws and told him to get a broucher with specs.....then I pulled up the price and specs of the DC6401....SOLD!!! haha GO STIHL

Matt, he was keen on your but unsure of parts/service/warrenty...he is not a saw or engine guy AT ALL. I told him it is what it is...But untill he has the DC6401 in his hands, anything is possible

I think we are still safe for a little while - customs website hasn't changed yet, but it most likely will change sooner than later.

When buying over the internet

I think it's already in place according to my mate as he does a lot of importing too. I can't find anything on it all, even on The Advertiser's website...

No mate it definately doesn't. Straight from the horse's mouth as I was busily trying to extricate my 390XPG from their grubby paws...

Hey all you Assies must be proud of Cadel Evens who won the Tour De France a few days ago...

I hope they have a little 'grace' period for this, if it's happening at all.

It wouldn't be fair on those in the middle of transactions ATM.

thanks for your concern Rick, but its ok.....my second pair of Billy's arrived today..well atleast they tried to deliver them...but I wasnt home. :D

It does suck....hope I can still get a 681 sorted...
