That's a bit harsh you know I get a bad rash even thinking about toyboatas

It's OK mate. A few of the guys here think about the environment, fuel economy, and having a small carbon footprint. Rick (tdi-rick) actually drives a Prius but online he's one of those macho guys with a Land Rover. We can be whatever we want on arboristsite.com, even world class chainsaw racers that are completely unknown amongst the real racing fraternity.

I know 100% you're not referring to me Andrew. Unless of course you want to mill that big Redgum log by yourself? Crikey old son. Anyway, it's not BS, it's fact. You have to believe me, even with no videos or photos. I'll bring you down one of these chains to look at. I may even let you sniff and touch it.

Im sorry i take it all back.

If i handle this ubute cutty cutty long time chain do i need specail kevlar gloves and stuff.
Can i take pics of it.

To sell to the highest bidder.:msp_wink:
Taking offers.

Kevlar gloves won't stand a chance with the cutter edge but you can safely touch the depth guage or drivelink. No you can't take pictures of it and I know bloody Neil asked you to his dirty work for him.

I had a patrol once rick if it was not for the factory diff lock and sway bar disconnect it would of been useless. A good tug boat tho better then the fender power wise for towing but once up to speed I think the fender tows better. I get asked all the time if the fender was better in the bush and I just say well I still have the fender

Blast from the past

After racing Chris Brown god knows how many times and you a couple, I can be sure of one thing.
You do not have and never did have the ability to beat him in any arena and in any company at any time. Simple as that and you are talking sh#t again as before you met me you had no idea who he was. I showed you him in that photo, In fact I told you all about him and his brother Darren's mac racing careers.
He may of sent you some of his spares and old engines as he would of seen your website and thought he could unload his stuff for a reasonable price, he did not know you personaly. In the mac forum I read where you said he was your mate, just more bull sh#t.
And you tell Dean and myself to get a life, at least we don't have to show the same old 5 or 6 pics over and over , year in and year out on a heap of different forums to justify ourselves.
Speeking late 70's / early 80's, wasn't that round the time you won a hotsaw race by default because the other competitors walked off after seeing you do a practice cut. I read the story, that is truly legendary and you are one of a kind.

Its ok bob, i'm told you are a legend on a collectors forum, maybe they have not met you there as yet.

Oh and when have you ever placed in a final in a Northern NSW designated raceing event, one needs to progress from the heat first to have any chance of making a final and winning prize money.

If you blokes raced down eden way you may have raced my old man he had a shop in bega called north side machinery but his days were more the 80's then th 70's

But Al's GU Patrol has an 18" lift kit and at least looks sort of tough. Unlike your Prius.

I keep telling you, I don't have a have a Prius, I have a Land Rover Ewok, err, Evoque :D
You know, one of these

I think it's a good fit, no ?

Don't try to show that your dad raced saws mate by using facts. We don't appreciate facts here.

Al's GU is well setup, we just enjoyed slinging a bit, especially when Serg was online too. ;)

You probably know from AULRO, but the missus has a GU ute and I have the Landy, geez the crap flies at times here at home........
The GU has been bloody brilliant, had it since new, now has 420,000km and I've hardly had to touch it, but it's no Deefer.

Although i 'spose at least we have one reliable car :D

For my first birthday I was given a Labrador puppy named Deefer.

I'm not sure of Neil's in his seventies or eighties, but either way he's holding his age well ;)

I've never followed Manly ! :angry2: They're the Collingwood of the Rugby League !

My misses cryed when I sold the gq she loved it. But sees the ute has a big heart and would never let me part with it and I won't. The patrol was a good truck but the ute is family
